Plans are currently being developed for a new Travelodge hotel in Stepney Green in the heart of London’s East End, together with a ground floor retail unit.

The development would be occupied by Travelodge if it gets the go-ahead. The plans aim to preserve and enhance the character of the neighbourhood as well as providing a much needed affordable hotel to Stepney Green, benefiting visitors to the nearby hospital and university and providing a boost to tourism in the area.

The hotel would provide 18 new jobs with training and apprenticeship opportunities with Travelodge.
