LPC Living completes the final phase of its award-winning Hulton Square development in Salford

Milestone marks over £100 million of regeneration in Ordsall and the delivery of 672 homes at Hulton Square in Ordsall by LPC Living

Salford-based developer, LPC Living is pleased to announce that it has completed the final phase of its award winning Hulton Square Development in Ordsall, with the completion of a further 99 properties. Located off Trafford Road and close to Salford Quays, this current phase was completed by Bolton based construction company, Forrest.

Designed by Manchester-based architects, MPSL, this final phase of Hulton Square has been developed on a site that overlooks the beautiful Ordsall Park, which has recently been extensively landscaped and comprises a mix of townhouses together with one, two and three bedroom apartments.

The completion of the project also sees roads resurfaced in the area and the creation of a new public realm for local residents. The ‘Pocket Park’ comprises soft landscaping features and is situated at the heart of Hulton Square as a community focal point.

Launched in 2006, Hulton Square forms part of the Ordsall Development Framework (ODF), which was created to bring about transformational change to the area. Under the partnership with Salford City Council, LPC Living, which is owned by Pervaiz Naviede Family Trusts, is appointed as the lead developer for an area of 180 acres between Salford Quays and Manchester city centre.

The area has changed significantly from when we began our pioneering ‘Quay 5’ development on Ordsall Lane, which spearheaded much of today’s development and is testament to the success of the regeneration that has taken place.

“With the refurbishment of Exchange Quay and as expansion of MediaCityUK, demand for residential property in the area is continuing to grow, both from young families and professionals alike. The latter are finding they get much more space for their money than in the city centre, which is only a nine-minute tram ride away from the nearby Salford Quays Metrolink.”

Hulton Square is encompassed within a wider programme led by LPC Living to increase investment in Ordsall. The developer is currently working on exciting plans for the final phases of the adjoining Radcliffe Park development as well as a scheme of 150 homes in the heart of Ordsall, for which LPC Living will be holding public consultations with the local community in the forthcoming months.
