LPC Living Shortlisted for a Prestigious Award in the Insider North West Residential Property Awards 2019

LPC Living is delighted with today’s announcement that The Oaks, the company’s recently completed development in Gatley, has been shortlisted as Small Housing Development of the Year in the Insider North West Residential Property Awards.

The development comprises 26 three and four-bedroom homes, the result of a long research, design and planning process where LPC Living revisited what people actually need in a home to create properties that provide bright, spacious, flexible spaces, that can adapt to different family’s needs.

The Oaks has also been designed to have a sense of community. The main feature of The Oaks, is its landscaped communal garden, acting as a traditional ‘village green’ with a generous children’s play area, where residents can socialise and children can play together.

When launched earlier this year, the development was one of the fastest selling in the region, attracting a mixture of buyers, including young and established families, first time buyers and downsizers, both moving locally and migrating from other parts of the country.

Simon Ashdown, Director at LPC Living commented “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award and judging by the strong shortlist, there are a number of worthy winners in this category. The Oaks has proved to be one of the most sought-after developments in the region this year, which we believe can be attributed to its thoughtful design, specification and value for money, proving that good design and high-quality specification can be achieved through thoughtful planning and design.”

The development was constructed by Manchester based Dreamspace Construction, architects for the project were Bury based RGP Architects (Radcliffe Groves Partnership) and planning was overseen by Salford Quays based WYG. Interior design, sales and marketing was handled by the inhouse team at LPC Living and finance was provided by Greater Manchester Housing Investment Fund.

These insider awards were launched in 2016 to recognise and reward the excellence of the North West residential property sector. Celebrating their fourth year, the 2019 awards dinner is set to be the biggest yet and will take place on 24 January at EventCity in Manchester.

An independent panel of experts was assembled by Insider to judge all the entries in order to determine the shortlists and the eventual winners.
